Hey Waves,

We have rescheduled our picture day to Wednesday 6/12 at 8:30am. Please arrive at 8:15am, individual/sibling pictures begin at 8:30am sharp, we will start to line up for our team picture at 8:45ish. I have a poster with more information on the fridge at the pool. 

Since pictures will take up our normal 7-8/9-10 practice the 7-8s are welcome to practice during the 6&u practice from 9:15-9:45am (they will have their own lanes) and the 9-10s can practice with the 11 & up crew 9:45-10:45am.

Our meet next week is away against Nesbit Lakes and I need all hands on deck to help. We have several families and parents out of town so I need everyone who can volunteer to help. If we have any sets of parents who can volunteer during 1st AND 2nd half in separate jobs please email me and let me know! Also, please check the volunteer list that I email out during the week before our meet so you have an idea of where you are helping. Thank you again to everyone who helped last night and went above and beyond what I had asked of you, it is so appreciated! THANK YOU!

Our ASA Championship meet is fast approaching Friday June 28th at 3pm. If you think your swimmer would be interested in swimming at GA Tech please have them talk to Coach Jake. Each swimmer who is registered can swim two individual events and we will create relays if there are enough swimmers in each age group. It's a fun meet and a great experience. It gives the kids the chance to swim in an Olympic size pool and see what a more serious (but still fun) swim meet is like. We need to have swimmers registered and paid for by Thursday June 20th. The entry fee per swimmer is $23. Coach Jake can help swimmers decide which events they should swim. In each age group the top 40 individual events and top 10 relays will move on to the Championship finals on Saturday June 30th. I will be passing along more info about the ASA championship meet next week. Please let us know if your child would like to swim.
