Hey Woodfield families -- congrats on making it through Week #1 of the swim season. Now the fun begins. Our first meet is Tuesday, so here's the initial info on that. 

-We need volunteers. Primarily in the area of timing/recording. Hit me back to confirm you're available and able to help, and I'll give you more detail on what's needed. You'll absolutely get to watch your children swim.

-Have patience. Lots of it. We're trying a completely new meet structure this year, and there will be bumps. We're hoping to keep them to the level of speed bumps, not the level of mountains. 

-Families will be sticking together. Parents will be entering the pool area with their kids at their age group's designated times, and leaving when your little ones are done swimming. There's no need for bullpen parents this year, because there's effectively no bullpen. 

-Watch your email. A more detailed schedule will be forthcoming. We're not sure how long it'll take to run a meet -- some parts will be faster, some much slower. Again: patience, please. We'll block out a section of the parking lot so parents can set up folding chairs, etc. and hang out. 

-No practice Friday. As many people will be unavailable for July 4, we'll have no practice on Friday, and we'll use Wed and Thur for donuts and make-up swims.
