Hello Woodfield Waves families! Yes, the skies are gray and the weather is cold, but we're already thinking about swim season! Well ... sort of. 

I'm happy to report that the Atlanta Swim Association remains fully committed to a swim season for 2021, and I'm absolutely planning on having our Woodfield crew in the pool once again. All of you did an exceptional job last year of staying safe while having fun, and I'm hopeful we'll be able to build on that this summer.

Save-the-date emails are kind of silly in a pandemic, but here's what the ASA has tentatively set out for our meet dates this summer: May 27, and June 3, 10, 17, and 22. These are all Thursdays except the final meet, which is a Tuesday to account for the county meet at Georgia Tech. (I told you we're being hopeful.) 

Nothing you need to do yet. Sometime in early March I'll open up registration and we can start planning on getting back in the pool. Meantime, if you have questions, just reply to this email or contact me at [email protected]. And if you know anyone who's interested in swimming, round them up and bring them along!
