Hello Woodfield families -- it's time to start prepping to get back in the pool! Registration for the Summer 2021 Swim Season will begin later this week. I'm happy to answer any and all questions you have via email at [email protected], but a few quick notes:

-The season is presently scheduled to run as normal (practice beginning mid-May, five meets from late May-end of June, one county meet).

-Meets themselves are still under discussion. We may have to do virtual meets again to stay under the state-mandated limits for gatherings, but it looks like we'll be able to have the full team inside the fence for the duration of the meet (i.e. no clearing out after your kid's age group is done swimming.)

-We will still be adhering to all safety protocols from last year; in 2020, for the entire season of 50+ swimmers and families for eight weeks, we had exactly one COVID case, unrelated to swimming. I'm extremely proud of how responsible everyone was, and I'm sure we will be able to match that this year. 

-Registration fees will be unchanged from last year. 

-We will be using new suits and getting new t-shirts, specifics TBA. 

-I'll need more parental volunteers than we needed last year, so if you have some specific skills or tasks you'd like to handle, let me know. (DJ'ing is off limits. I'm holding that one down myself for one last season.) 

Registration will open up later this week, as soon as I can get the entire website switched over to accommodate the 2021 season. Hit me with any questions you have, and get ready to swim!
