Hello Woodfield families!

Got a bunch of small tidbits here for your swim team needs and review …

-Our first meet is NEXT THURSDAY, MAY 27, starting at 4:30 p.m. If you will NOT be there, please reach out to Coach Jake at [email protected]. (You can tell him at practice, but email confirmation is best for recordkeeping purposes.) Much more info forthcoming on the meet, which will be a virtual one ... i.e., we won't have another team on-site.

-Next, NO PRACTICE next WEDNESDAY. That’s the last day of school for Fulton County, and the pool officially opens for the unlucky non-swim-teamers then. So rather than conflict with them, we’ll call off practice for that day. The next day, Thursday, we’ll begin morning practice … and we’ll have that first meet later in the day. (Plus, donuts that Friday.)

-The Walsh family has a girls’ Woodfield swimsuit, size 30, available for purchase. Contact Amanda at [email protected] to inquire. If you haven’t already gotten your suit, check with All-American Swim ( https://allamericanswim.com/ ) and get the Blue Rise Vortex model. (You may wish to visit the store in person, as orders are taking awhile.)

-Amy McSpadden ( [email protected] ) has a carpool need on swim mornings for her 11-year-old daughter, from Riverside. If you happen to be in that area and can help out, reach out to her.

-I will be away from the pool the next few days, attending an out-of-town graduation. (Coach Riley, for those of you who’ve been around awhile, is graduating from college!) But please feel free to reach out to me, or contact the coaches if you have questions on anything at all.
