Hey Woodfield families -- meet #2 is tonight at home. As with last week, it's a virtual meet. A few notes:

-The theme is "America," so bust out your best star-spangled attire. 

-Practice begins at 5pm. As always, space yourselves out, and when parking, do not park on both sides of the street. 

-As I type this, there's a small sun shower at the pool. We WILL swim in the rain. We will NOT swim if there's thunder. 

-Bring CASH for the concession stand -- pizza, drinks and snacks are on tap -- and there's a rumor we may get an ice cream truck at some point in the evening, too. 

-Check your volunteer assignments:

-Remember: virtual meets move FAST. We were done by 7 last week, and expect about the same this week. 

-Parents: PLEASE keep an ear out to make sure your swimmer gets to the blocks on time. I'll be announcing the events, so when we're within 5 of your event -- if we're on event 30 and your swimmer is in event 35, for example -- make sure your swimmer is at the blocks and ready to swim.
