Hello Woody Waves Families,

We are looking forward to our first meet tomorrow night!  

A few things to know regarding jobs at the meets, the website and swimmer availability...

Please go to the website or Swimtopia app to declare if your swimmer will be attending or not attending each meet.  Click "Swim Meets" on the top tab and the list of all meets will appear.  You can declare for all five meets today!  Click the RSVP button to do so. The coaches need this information to set the line up for each meet.

You will also sign up for and view your volunteer job under the "Swim Meet" tab, by clicking "Job Signup."  The sign up will close two days before each meet and if you haven't signed up for a job, one will be assigned to you.  You can click "Job Signup" to view your role at any time, even if it says sign up is closed.  We will use this function on the app and website from now on, no paper will be printed or attached to emails.  Before a swim meet you will check in with me to get a name tag and confirm your job.  If you need any help, I'll be there!

Bonus for those of you still reading...you can sign up for jobs for all meets right now!  If you have a favorite role, go ahead and sign up for each meet now!  If you don't know what any of the jobs are, sign up to be a "Runner" (Pro Tip: You don't actually have to run and all you do is turn in score sheets to the computer operator for the meet and it is usually in an air conditioned place!). Remember, if you have a swimmer swimming in a meet, one person in your family needs a job for half of each meet.
