Hello Waves families! It's not a summer swim season until the weather bites us...and that might happen today. Here are the details for today's meet as we know them. 

-First off, keep an eye on your email/inbox and Swimtopia app; we'll be sending out updates there. 

-Attached are all heat sheets/athlete events. 

-We swim in light rain. We don't swim in thunderstorms, or in rain so heavy we can't clearly see the bottom of the pool. A boom of thunder requires a 30-minute wait ... and the clock restarts with every new boom. 

-So for now, we're proceeding as normal -- arrive at the pool at 4:15 with plans to get in the water for warmups at 4:30. Meet is scheduled to begin at 5:30. 

-We will not start the meet overly late or keep you late if the meet gets delayed. We don't want to keep you until 10:45 at night swimming (which apparently happened with another team this season, according to our ref last week). If it looks impossible to continue tonight, we will either declare the meet a tie or continue virtually (each team times their swimmers and then we combine times). 

-Regardless, tomorrow looks great! Be prepared for PICTURE DAY and FUN FRIDAY DONUTS -- arrive at 8:45 for individual pics, with the team photo and donuts to follow.
