    Home Meet Week! Tri-Meet

Hey Woodfield Waves! Home Meet Week is upon us and as you’ve heard this season, we will be hosting a tri-meet. This means 2 away teams plus us at the pool on Thursday evening. It will be a busy evening at the pool.

As the home team, we warm up first. At the suggestion of ASA, we will be utilizing 20 minute warm-ups to get everyone in. So, we will warm up at 4:30. Please be at the pool by 4:00.

    Parking:

This is likely to be a challenge and unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to improve it. We ask everyone to pack their patience for this event. If you’re close enough to walk down, it would be a good evening to do that. If you can carpool, that also is a good idea. Have a friend with extra driveway space - maybe use that. Parking will get tight with 3 teams, but we will make it work. Please be considerate of neighbors and be careful not to block driveways and park only on one side of the road (signs will be out that day)

    Concessions:

We will have nachos, pizza, and noodles in addition to all the drinks, snacks, candy, etc. We will be accepting cards/apple pay through Square as well as cash.

    Bullpens:

Our bullpens will be along the fence with parent seating in front of them on the pool deck. Please be sure we are leaving a walk-way for swimmers to access both ends of the pool. Also a reminder, no spectators should be set up behind the turn/shallow end of the pool. I know it is the best shade, but with 25s and relays that area gets very crowded.

    Volunteers:

Everyone is doing a great job signing up for their volunteer slots. Home meets take even more hands. Thank you all for signing up for your spots. Stay tuned for more information from Stacey on volunteer assignments for those unclaimed roles.

    Warm-up Schedule:
    4:30 - Woodfield (Home)
    4:50 - Dunmoor
    5:10 - Nesbit Lakes
5:15 - Judges and Timers Meeting
    5:30 - Meet Start
