First of all, great meet on Thursday evening! Thank you to all the many hands it took to have a successful tri-meet. Thank you to our concession volunteers keeping such a large turn out fed and kids sugared up! This was a new crew this year and the kids seemed to love it.

On to new business:

1. GA Tech ASA championship meet - we need to get the registrations in this week. All final entries are due on Friday at 1pm. Please get your registrations in no later than Tuesday evening so that we can potentially field some relays with attending swimmers! If you know the events you want to swim, please include them in the “personalization” field along with your swimmer(s) name(s). If you’re unsure, coaches can help you elect events.

2. Banquet - be sure to mark your calendars for June 26th. If you feel called to help with this event, please reach out!
3. Remember to declare your swimmer(s) for Thursday’s meet at Haynes Landing!
4. The last home meet is Tuesday June 25th! This comes fast after the Thursday meet so go ahead and declare that one too while you’re in the system!
5. Announcing - ASA has begun offering a fall season that runs August through mid-September with championship held at Marist. We will be adding a Woodfield Waves team for this season! Stay tuned for more information. We are excited to offer this opportunity to keep kids swimming.
   • This is a "bonus" season in late August and September that allows teams to get more swimming in for their swimmers and get high school and middle school swimmers up to speed for their coming season.
   • The league is targeted at swimmers ages 8 to 18.
   • Each week offers mini-invitationals at local pools on Saturday mornings.
   • Meets last about two hours and offer electronic timing.
