I can’t believe we were able to get part of our meet in last night!  We were able to swim over 20 events before the rain came pouring down.  Because of already full schedule for next week, this meet will not be rescheduled.  The good news is the forecast for next week is looking good for our end of season party on Monday and our last meet at Chartwell on Tuesday.

 

Because our meet is on Tuesday next week, Grayson needs to know ASAP who cannot swim that night.  Right now I know the following kids cannot swim on Tuesday, our last meet.  Please let us know ASAP if your child cannot swim ([email protected] and [email protected]).

Congratulations to this week’s Waves of the Week!  The coaches chose Alexander Beard and Chloe Schurman for this honor today.  We are very proud of you both!

 

Our end of season party is Monday from 6-8.  Hopefully you have RSVP’d and signed up to help with set up or clean up or are bringing a dish to share.  Everyone wear your bathing suits and come ready for some fun!

 

Each season we like to give all of our coaches a bonus for their hard work.  If you would like to contribute to their bonuses, you can give your donation to me or Christy Hebenstreit.  Most families donate between $10 and $20, but any amount you see fit is appreciated. The money collected will be divided among all of the coaches.  We will give them their bonuses at the end of season party, so if you haven’t donated and want to, you can give it to me Monday morning.  Thank you!

 

Next week is our last week of swim team.  We will have regular practice and lessons on Monday and Tuesday.  Our end of season party is Monday night from 6-8 PM and our last meet will be Tuesday at Chartwell.  We will have free swim and ribbons on Wednesday. Instead of celebrating our last meet with doughnuts on Wednesday morning, the coaches are making pancakes for the team!  They will be ready to start serving around 8:30 AM and will keep flipping until we run out of batter.  Don’t come late or they may be gone! We will have the last swim lessons on Wednesday, as well.  Wednesday will be the official last day of practice and lessons.  

On Thursday from 8:45-9:30, we will have a practice for only the kids who are swimming in the ASA meet.
