ASA Divisional Meet at Georgia Tech

Please see the message below from Debbie Markland regarding the ASA meet.  Thank you, Debbie, for putting this together.

The championship meet for the end of season is held every year at the GT pool at the end of June.  While it is not a required meet, it is great fun and a great experience and chance to be part of a bigger swimming event.  It is held at the GT pool which is a beautiful facility where the 1996 Olympics were held and now where many large swimming events continue to be held.

It is a chance to see your child's name on the scoreboard, hear your child's name as they swim in the water- and who knows, maybe break a record or two.

Your swimmer may choose up to two events he/ she wants to swim.  Coaches can assist you in determining the best events for your child.

Our divisional races will be held Friday, June 30 from 3-6, and then the top 40-50 (depending on age group) swimmers will return to the finals on July 1, with younger swimmers in the morning and older swimmers in the afternoon.

Relays will be created based on who is entered.

Please consider registering your child for the meet.  Entries are due to Debbie Markland (Jake and Emma's mom) ([email protected]) by Tuesday, JUNE 20.

There is an extra fee- $20.

Please submit your entries ASAP via email to Debbie, and then submit your fees in cash or check (made out to Woodfield Waves).  Please place your money in an envelope with your child's name on it and give to Jake or Emma.
