Oh what a night!  Congratulations to all of the swimmers for a great meet last night!  We beat Spring Ridge by ten points!  I hope everyone was proud of themselves and is looking forward to improving personal times next week!  Thank you to everyone who volunteered.  I know the meets are chaotic, but for our first home meet, everything went very smoothly.  Thank you to everyone for your help and willingness to pitch in to make the night a big success!

If your child is not able to swim in the meet on Thursday, June 8 at Pinewalk, please email me and Grayson ([email protected] and [email protected]).  So far I know that the following kids will be out: The Rohrers, Cole Munroe, Mason Klein and Hannah Schurman.  It is never too early to let us know if your child cannot be at a meet.

Do you have a house, car or swim bag full of beads from last night’s meet?  Feel free to participate in the Woodfield bead recycling program by bringing them back to us at practice.  You can put them in an unmarked bag if you have to sneak them out of the house.   We will use them again for another meet.  If you have any kind of beads you are looking to get rid of, bring them to us!

Next Friday, June 9 is our team picture day.  I will have forms with pricing information at practice all next week.  Individual pictures will start at 8:00, team picture with everyone who is there at 8:30 and free swim and doughnuts will begin after all of the pictures are taken. 

Congratulations to this week’s Waves of the Week, Kate Knudsen and Kevin Skully.  The coaches pick two swimmers each week for this honor.  Way to go Kate and Kevin!

Several people asked me about adult shirts last night and I do still have a few left.  Please remind me if we talked about it and you still want one.  I don’t bring them to meets with me, but will have them in my car during practices.  Let me know if you want one and I can send it home with your child if you aren’t there.  All shirts and tanks are $10.  I have one white medium, two white large, one small blue tank and one medium blue tank.  (Beads and fringe not included.)
