Ooops. I added the jobs for the meet, but forgot to open them up for signups earlier in the week. Those few volunteer needs are now open if we can get a few volunteers to fill those spots, that would be great!

As a reminder, we need event information in today so that Anna can have them ready to merge in time tomorrow.

Facilities

We have a 6-lane pool. The starting blocks are 10 feet deep. On the shallow end (4 feet deep), swimmers will start in the water for relays. Restrooms are located on the right side as you enter the pool.

Team Areas / Bullpen

Inside the club, we have two covered pavilions that we will designate for team bullpens. We encourage spectators to bring folding chairs. Spectators can set up on the sides of the pool and the shallow end. FYI, the pool does not have a lot of shade.

Parking

The parking lot fills up quickly for meets. Carpooling is encouraged. Additional parking can be found on neighboring streets, but please be respectful of our neighbors. Please, let your families know that if they park on the neighborhood streets, only park on one side of the street to allow room for emergency vehicles to get through. We will have no parking signs on one side of the street--thank you for observing these. Please do not block any of the neighbor's driveways and please observe the speed limit. Do not park on Briarlake Rd.

Deck Flow

Each team is responsible for getting their own swimmers to their lanes for relays and individual events--approach the blocks on the side of the pool by the slide. We will have a bullpen receiving area, so we can get kids organized before they get to the blocks for individual events. It's a team effort to get all the kids to their events-- please provide two volunteers or coaches to help with lining up/watching your team’s kids in the ready area. We work as a team to get everyone in the correct lanes and then pull them to the bullpen chairs behind the blocks. All swimmers should exit the deck after their race to go back to their bullpen.
