Well, it seems the delays keep coming. Let’s hope that a rough start means an excellent season.

As of this morning, the parts have arrived in Kennesaw and our repairs on the Woodfield Pool are expected today (YAY!). They then have to get chemicals back in balance and inspected. I keep being promised any day now so we continue to be hopeful. 

In the meantime, a huge Thank You to River Terrace neighborhood who is letting us borrow their pool for a few days so we can get the kids in the water and swimming! We have provided our Certificate of Insurance and are all set with them. So, Monday (and maybe Tuesday) practices will be held there. We will have one additional waiver for each swimmer to sign during check in on Monday. Thank You to the Langston family for representing both Woodfield Waves and River Terrace and helping to make this happen! 

Stop by the red/silver table and sign your waiver before heading into the pool for practice. Or bring it with you and turn it in there as well. It is attached to this email, but we will also have plenty of copies.

Address for River Terrace Pool is: 8855 Terrace Lane. Roswell, GA 30076. It is located just 1 mile from The Woodfield pool.

Additionally, we will slightly adjust our practice schedule to help even out the load on the borrowed pool. If you cannot make your time, let us know and we can likely make adjustments. If you feel like your swimmer would benefit from the practice before them, you’re welcome to do that as well. I know we have some kids who are just aging into new groups that might prefer to remain for these two days with a new environment.

Temporary Schedule for River Terrace: 

4:45-5:15: Ripples (or any 6U who would prefer this group)

5:15-5:45: 6&U swimmers and 7/8

5:45-6:15: 9/10 and 11/12

6:15-6:45: 13 and up swimmers

Also, reminder, we have our first spirit night of the season Tomorrow. Stop by Whit’s any time between 5 and 9pm, mention Woodfield and 20% will come back to the team! Invite your friends and neighbors as well!
