I hope everyone is having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Believe it or not, it is already the week of our first meet! We will have several emails about the meet this week, but for this email, my goal is to ask each of you to login to swimtopia and declare your swimmer(s) for the meet - and while you're there sign up for a volunteer slot. 

So, first question I had was what do we mean with declare your swimmers? This is simple. You're telling us if your swimmer is going to be swimming in this meet. There is also a slot whern you do this to leave any notes for coaches. Examples might be: Susie really wants to swim breaststroke or John is nervous and would like to swim only freestyle or Mike will be running late please don't put in an early relay. We aren't asking you to pick events or determine anything other than if you will be at the swim meet Thursday night.

I also encourage you to download the swimtopia app. This allows us to push an app alert if we have to adjust anything (for example this week with weather). We will do emails also, but the app alert is usually a quicker way to reach many.
