I can’t believe we are starting the season this way again, but today’s first day will be out of the pool. I won’t say it is dry though.

Once again we are awaiting the inspection on the pool. While the pool management company has been out multiple times this weekend and we are told the primary pool is all set, I am not comfortable having the kiddos swimming until we get the inspection. Additionally, the water temp needs another day Brrr. The baby pool has some repairs pending so families who have younger siblings that you sometimes use the baby pool during practice, make some alternative plans for at least this week. The priority is to get the main pool inspected so we can kick off our season, but repairs are ongoing on the baby pool.

Today’s first dive will still be lots of fun. I would plan to either wear a swimsuit or clothes you don’t mind getting wet and for sure bring a towel for your walk/ride home. 6 and Under (swimmers and Ripples) will still be 4:45-5:15. 7 and Up are 5:15-6:00pm.

For both sessions, we will all meet together and do some introductions and then the coaches have some fun activities planned for each age group. Our parent volunteer coordinator will have information to share as well as lots of parents available for any questions that we can assist with to kick off the season. Oh, and the kids will have a nice cool treat too! Plus a spot for some photos. We also will still have the fit kits for swimsuits if you need to try on swimsuits.
